Coronavirus Update
Our customers health and safety are our highest priority. As
such, we have decided to take preemptive steps to continue serving you in the
safest way possible. Starting Monday, March 23, we will be operating on a curbside
pickup and delivery only basis. Our business hours will change from 10-6 to 9-4
until further notice. To better serve you during this time, please call the
store and place your order, specifying if it will be pickup or delivery. During
this time, we will be limiting cash purchases and using credit/debit cards or
checks as preferred methods of payment. We have the capability to store your
card information in our system, if you are comfortable with that process. We
ask that you give us a one-hour notice on curbside pickup orders. If you are
unable to call during business hours, please call and leave a message with your
order or request a call back. Please do not leave your payment information in
the message. We will call you back for confirmation of your order, method of
payment, and delivery/pickup information.
We would also like to provide transparency to the current
challenges, as well as other issues we may face down the road dependent upon
the Coronavirus pandemic. As of today, our supply chain is not disrupted. There
is the potential for disruption in the event there are manufacturer worker
shortages, driver shortages, and other unforeseen problems, which may vary
state to state. Today, our distributors’ biggest concern is the inability to
fulfill the abnormally large orders that they have experienced as of late. Their
warehouses and truck fleets are not capable of expansion, and in many cases,
have capped orders at their maximum hauling capacity. The most important thing
right now is to ensure that everyone has the food they need, when they need it.
We do not want anyone’s pet to go without food, but we caution against hoarding.
Please know that we are working hard to mitigate hardships and are preparing
